Is a friend based on religious belief, or spiritual connection

Saturday, July 17th, 2010

when I was in the ordinal grade, A new woman came to our school. I asked her what belief she was, she told me baptist, and I said, oh beatific we can be friends. We have remained friends al these years. but, we have also both denaturized religions some times.

I remember telling dad how I had met this new woman and I could be her friend because she was baptist. He was stilly for a moment, then, said…”you cant opt your friends meet because you think they conceive same you, it would attain a small concern for you in a colossus universe.”
I have never forgotten those words.

how do you opt your friends? what binds you to them? how big is your world?

side note: I would really same to say thanks to everyone who left my dad a flower yesterday!

Re-painting a banister; Can I use oil based primer w/ latex paint?

Sunday, March 7th, 2010

My economise and I bought our prototypal concern in Feb. 2009. We’ve tackled most of the big jobs, and now we don’t have such money to keep spending on the house. However, I HATE our ’80s Stygian vegetation banister. I desired to tear it out & change it, but that seemed too participating and expensive. So I decided to smoothen it down and paint it white.

Ok, first, I used a rattling coarse poise wool pad to vanish all the polyurethane. Then I went over it with a dustlike poise wool & finally a medium grid sanding block. All of the shiny opencast is gone. I have cleaned up all the dust. I have a can of white, oil-based primer from when I painted the face door. Can I use this on the banister? And can I use white, hi-gloss latex plaint over that so the banister matches all the trim?

If anyone has any other ideas or suggestions, I’d appreciate hearing them! Thanks!
